Serengeti

World famous, the Serengeti is known for the animal migration of wildebeest and zebra along with smaller herds of Thomson’s gazelle and eland. We timed our trip for birthing season, prior to the migration north. This time of year gives us lots of opportunities to find herds and their predators.
While all the camps were amazing, the Serengeti Plains Camp was our favorite. The service was exceptional and the camp was located in an isolated area of the Serengeti. The dining tent overlooked a watering hole where animals often came to drink.
